Been living in Japan for close to 15 years now. Once in a while when I feel homesick, I go back to France, and I'm cured even before I exit the airport in Paris. Yes, Japan being such a nice place is due to people making efforts and if you live there you are expected to make efforts too. So what?

Now that Covid is a thing, having too much facial hair can prevent your mask from making a proper seal on your face. Anyone who cares about health and accepts science would decide not to have facial hair, outside of maybe a small mustache or goatee that won't get in the way of the mask's seal. So in that sense, if you see someone with a big beard, you can assume they don't care about health and / or are a science denier.

i played the same sailor moon game you played. The game "pretty soldier sailor moon" on a MAME Arcade emulator. It is a really fun game and very well made.

It really sucks the great Arcades in Tokyo all shut down. I am surprised the Arcade and Video Game Community in Tokyo let this happen and did not save them. Nuff Said!

As a Japanese Teacher, Mr. Eats, if I want to be an English Teacher in Japan who is proficient in both languages, is it possible for an American citizen to be a Teacher in Japan? And if so, how hard is it to have dual citizenship? I know of visas, but from what I understand, they are limited in what jobs you can have there with them. Thank you for your response in advance.

I think its the same thing with every country, when i moved to spain (yes i am 15 but i still experienced these things) i also went through these phases. I think that the mentality and mindset matter the most. I always think positively and critically about (almost) everything. So if youre new in a country, stay positive and learn the language!

I'm from America and I hate this stuff too. Except for the graffiti, I love graffiti. It is illegal to deface property with graffiti except with profess permission from the owner. The city where I'm from, there are a lot of business that hire graffiti artists to decorate walls of their business because it's seen as cool. And it works, I automatically think a business is gonna be cooler if they have professional graffiti on the side. Plus the tipping thing, tips are important because there are laws that suggest certain service jobs can make less than the minimum wage because they get tips. This sucks because say, a restaurant server, may only make $4 an hour, so they basically survive on tips. It's why I always leave a tip and will leave a big one if the service is very good.

Nothing personal, I like Japan, want to go back again some day, and while I get the fact that some people are annoying and do their best to be annoying and not even try to learn the local customs or rules, but ive also grown up around foriegners. Most of my friends growing up were immigrants, Ive never lived abroad, but it often seems like I didnt have to in order to know that my culture and values werent the only set out there. If Japan is so much of a stickler in its policies where people are...agrivated (and based on some of the new tourist policies, I think it goes beyond that), that they cant adapt or at the least deal with it, then maybe Biden is right and Japan is a xenophobic nation.

So which is better, Osaka or Tokyo, and how long does it take to go to osaka
